Because the Linen is woven from flax, the weave of the Linen shows through the many layers of paint thereby producing a distinctive, authentic look. Because Linen retains its own natural oils, the canvas is more flexible and has a more natural looking weaved finish than Cotton will produce. Mural artworks will be painted on light cotton canvas.
