Nenhum artista no mundo não se sentiria atraído pelo céu estrelado. Pintado em 1889, “Noite Estrelada” é uma pintura famosa do artista pós-impressionista holandês Vincent Van Gogh. A vida real não foi suficiente para o autor. Ele considerou que era a sua imaginação, o jogo da imaginação, que era necessário para uma imagem mais completa.
Sabe-se que na época em que a fotografia foi feita, o autor estava em outro tratamento, só podia trabalhar se seu estado melhorasse. O artista foi privado da oportunidade de criar sobre a natureza. Criei muitos trabalhos durante este período (incluindo “Noite Estrelada”) de memória.

A paisagem cósmica ofusca a Terra. Nem mesmo vemos imediatamente a cidade abaixo da foto. Entre o céu e a terra, conectando-os, cresce o cipreste, eterno, imortal. Em muitos países, os ciprestes são considerados árvores de culto, que simbolizam a vida da alma após a morte, a eternidade, a fragilidade do ser e ajudam os mortos a encontrar o caminho mais curto para o céu. Aqui essas árvores vêm à tona, são os protagonistas do quadro. Tal construção reflete o significado principal da obra: a alma humana sofredora (talvez a alma do próprio artista), que pertence ao céu e à terra.
Quando Van Gogh criou esta obra-prima, ele escreveu ao irmão: “Por que as estrelas brilhantes no céu não podem ser mais importantes do que os pontos pretos no mapa da França? Assim como pegamos o trem para chegar a Tarascon ou Rouen, da mesma forma que morremos para chegar às estrelas. " Van Gogh irá para as estrelas logo após essas palavras. Apenas um ano depois. Ele vai dar um tiro no peito e morrer de perda de sangue. Talvez não seja à toa que a lua está minguando ...
A imagem é escrita em um estilo característico de Van Gogh. Pinceladas grossas e longas, dispostas cuidadosamente uma ao lado da outra, cores suculentas de azul e amarelo tornam-na muito agradável à vista. No entanto, o próprio Van Gogh não gostou. Quando a imagem chegou à exposição, ele disse casualmente sobre ela: "Talvez mostre aos outros como retratar os efeitos noturnos melhor do que eu." Essa atitude em relação à foto não é surpreendente. Como sabemos, não foi escrito da vida e Van Gogh acreditava fortemente na importância de ver o que você escreve.
Hoje, esta obra se tornou uma das obras mais reconhecidas de Van Gogh. Residindo no American Museum, está na coleção permanente do Museum of Modern Art de Nova York, parte do Lillie P. Bliss Bequest, desde 1941.
